Canned Food Drive 2019

Since 2011, voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation has invited other Shelby County industries to participate in a canned food drive collection competition. Each organization challenges employees to donate and collect as much non-perishable items andn toiletries as possible. The event concludes with a celebratory weigh-in at one of the locations to see which organization leaves with the canned food drive trophy.

This year the weigh-in event was hosted at voestalpine RFC Aerospace. The organizations who were invited to participate were Autotruck, Kittrich, Nifco, Ohio Valley Aluminum, Pegasus, Stanley Black & Decker along with voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation and voestalpine RFC Aerosapce. All organizations collectively made a contribution of 10,700 pounds of items. All items benefit Awake Ministries and Operation Care.
